OWH Sketch Challenge #9

OK, here's the first card for Sketch challenge # 9:

I used a scrap of patterned paper - actually these are all scraps. Then I used this butterfly stamp on a piece of pink card stock stamped in Black Versa Fine. I colored the butterfly with Copic markers, colors R32, R37, and the colorless blender to make the striations on the wings. Then I used a Maya Road clear stamp for the sentiment. Simple, easy, cute (at least, I like it)

Looking at it, I think my black strip of CS might be adhered crooked... *sigh* dang it. OK, I did have surgery four days ago (OK, yes it was laproscopic, but it was on my tummy and I'm still on medication) so we'll overlook the crooked here. Well, maybe you won't, but I will. :) I had a great idea while I was making this one, so I'm off to do another one. :) Show ya when it's finished.

  1. LOVE the bright colors, very springy!!!! Great card, thanks for playing along in this weeks sketch challenge.

  2. Your card is just beautiful. Love your butterfly. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you feel better.

  3. I love your card, butterflies are so popular right now and I can't seem to get enough of them. You did a great job using scraps, how fun!
